Joining the Batch #001 tester cohort costs nothing. The 30 ml tester pack and express cold-pack shipping are free, and we never ask for payment details. You are under no obligation to buy anything later.
Who can apply
- You are 18 or older and live in India.
- You are not allergic to coconut or coconut-derived products.
- Places are limited to what one 10-litre pilot batch can fill. We choose testers to cover a range of hair types and routines, and not everyone who applies is selected.
When packs ship
Packs ship only after our cosmetic manufacturing licence is in place and the batch passes the Gate 03 safety checks (microbes, pathogens, heavy metals). If that takes longer than planned, we email you. We will not ship early.
What we ask of you
- Do a patch test first: one drop on the inner forearm or behind the ear, left for 48 hours. Don't use the oil if you see redness, itching or swelling.
- Use it as a pre-wash oil on hair, following the card in the pack.
- Send honest Day-7 and Day-14 feedback using the short form we provide, including anything you didn't like.
Safety
- For external use on hair only. Keep away from eyes. Keep out of reach of children.
- Stop using it at once if you notice any irritation, tell us at hello@monolauria.com, and see a doctor if it doesn't settle.
How your feedback is used
We publish Gate 05 results as anonymised totals, good and bad, and never edit the meaning of what testers say. We quote you by name, handle or photo only with your separate, explicit permission. Your data is handled under our Privacy Policy.
If you post about it
You are free to post about your experience, positive or negative. Because the pack is free, Indian advertising rules (ASCI) require you to say so clearly, for example "#gifted" or "Free sample from Monolauria". We never script your opinion or ask you to change it.
The ₹200 voucher
- Testers who send both the Day-7 and Day-14 feedback get a ₹200 voucher.
- It can be used once, on your first order of a 100 ml bottle after commercial sales open, and is valid for 6 months from that date.
- It has no cash value and can't be transferred.
Changes
Pilot products and dates can change. We may pause or end the programme, for example if a gate fails. If that happens before your pack ships, nothing is owed either way.
